NewsFlash: John Rhys-Davies won't be dwarfed.
Empire Online has the sad news that John Rhys-Davies will not return to play a dwarf in the upcoming movie The Hobbit. There had been speculation that he would play the father of his character from the Lord of The Rings trilogy. However it seems he doesn't want to be just one of many dwarves compared to his previous role as a lone dwarf.

There are no small dwarfs. Only small actors!
Ha ha! I like how he thinks he could play an elf.
And even a cameo in what may turn out to be about a 5 hour movie...well that would still mean plenty of screen time.
