Lost (2004-2010) may be the most unique show on television. On the surface, it appears to be about the survivors of a plane crash stranded on a desert island -- but it is so much more than that. The twists and turns of the plot, the amazing level of detail, the superlative character development, the outstanding writing and acting, all make Lost downright addictive. And analyzing a show this complicated certainly keeps me out of trouble.
By the way, my reviews are pretty comprehensive but I didn't try to catch everything. I would have gone nuts. That's what friends are for. (Catching everything on Lost, not going nuts.)
